Tomorrow is a very special day for charities and non-profit organizations all over the world.
Tuesday, November 29th, is Giving Tuesday. Giving Tuesday, as the name implies, is a global day of giving following the gratitude of Thanksgiving, and the shopping chaos of Black Friday and Cyber Monday. According to Giving Tuesday’s official website, it is meant as a kick-off to holiday and year-end giving. Most Giving Tuesday campaigns are completed solely through the use of online tools and social media. It is “fueled by the power of social media and collaboration.”
Last year, 700,000 donors in 71 countries raised over 116 million dollars for their favorite organizations.
