In general, as a guardianship advocate, you will assist in making life decisions for an at-risk adult. These decisions might involve the medical, social service, and legal needs of your client.

This program aims to empower consumers and family members to support one another. This can be done in several different ways to meet the different needs of each individual.

If you are applying for a volunteer position for Volunteer Advocate (Guardianship), you will need to provide a copy of your driver’s license and proof of insurance at the time of the interview. Your ID will be checked and/or copied upon volunteer orientation.
