As the set of principles that guides your conduct, strong ethics is a tool in your toolbox to provide high quality services. During this workshop, Brandon Bower will share his insights on ethics and the role they play in your profession.

Objectives:

  1. Learn the definition of ethics and how to define it in your profession.
  2. Learn the roots of ethics and why that is important.
  3. Learn the five steps to practicing good ethics in their work.
  4. Learn what hinders good ethics.

About the Speaker

Brandon Bower is a passion driven visionary with a heart to see the lost and hurting find healing. Brandon is the founder of The Lighthouse, a ministry focused on helping the hurting and broken re-establish life in the community through faith-based services, transitional housing for men, one-on–one mentorship, and teaching presented through various avenues: Life Skills groups, community training, mentorship, etc.

Brandon received his Master’s in Counseling through Trinity Theological Seminary. In addition, Brandon holds a state license as a Licensed Clinical Addictions Counselor (LCAC) and is a Certified Addiction and Drug Abuse Counselor (CADAC II).

Brandon continues to share hope with countless individuals through one-on-one relationships, mentorship, community outreach, church teaching, group meetings, television, radio, and multiple social media platforms. Brandon has not only served here in the USA, he has traveled abroad extensively with his latest efforts focused on South Africa—teaching, advising, and ministering to the hurt and broken and planting seeds of hope abroad.

Brandon is blessed to be living out this mission with his wife, Elizabeth, and their three beautiful children. They currently reside near Fort Wayne, Indiana.
