This training has been developed to support and equip Peer Support Service providers in the state of Indiana to respond to the COVID 19 crisis safely and effectively. The training will provide real time updates on the rapidly changing landscape of Peer Support Services as Telehealth Peer Support Services emerge in the state of Indiana.

Education will be provided on best practices in the delivery of virtual billable peer services and available resources post COVID 19 Global Pandemic Declaration. A brief refresher in relevant Peer Support Service provider skills and facilitation practices will also be provided. This training has been endorsed by the Indiana State Division of Mental Health and Addiction in response to COVID 19 for the provision of Recovery Support Services.

The training will be facilitated by Amy Brinkley, CHW/CRS, Bureau Chief, Office of Consumer and Family Affairs at the Division of Mental Health and Addiction; and Jessica Hanna, Professional Mental Health Trainer at Mental Health America of Northeast Indiana.

This training is being provided by webinar using Zoom software. If you do not currently have a Zoom account, you can register for free and download the software ahead of the training on their website. You will receive the Zoom meeting information by email once you register.
