On the morning of Thursday, May 5 at Headwaters Park, Mental Health America of Northeast Indiana announced our month-long campaign to share mental health information, resources, and encouragement across our community.
Mayor Tom Henry presented a mayoral proclamation recognizing the importance of community mental health and wellness.
MHANI Executive Director Tara Holliday shared the organization’s plan to address four specific topics throughout the month: Stigma, Common mental health challenges, Self-Care, and Caregiving.
Bowen Center Senior Vice President of Operations Dr. Rob Ryan also addressed the gathering regarding the organization’s efforts to reach out and provide mental health services to people through an expansion of their networks, including new health clinics across the region.
